1. Beijing Statistical Information Net
As an official website of Beijing statistical authority, Beijing Statistical Information Net (/) is the most important channel to gain Beijing statistics. Here you can inquiry and download kinds of data, including detailed and complete monthly data, quarterly data, annual and census data, etc. Besides, the website also shows statistical classification standards, statistical survey regulations and explanatory notes on statistical indicators, etc.
2. Beijing Basic Database on Macro-economy and Social Development
Beijing Basic Database on Macro-economy and Social Development (“Macro Database” for short) is one of the four basic bases established by Beijing municipal government, covering main data in national economic and social development sectors. Data in part of its indicators can trace back to 60 years ago. The macro database delivers various rapid and convenient query services, including data navigation, key words search, search by table, search by indicator, special subject search, text information search, publication search and knowledge search, etc. If users want to apply data in a more visual way, Geographic Information System here can help them to search and locate data and chart, etc.
3. Statistical publications
The Beijing Statistical Yearbook is published in September every year, systemically collecting specific statistical data on Beijing economic and social development in previous year.
(1) Yearbook
The Beijing Regional Statistical Yearbook is published in December every year, systemically collecting information of economic and social development in each district and county of Beijing, as well as that in four direct-controlled municipalities and main national economic zones.
(2) Census data collection
Census publications published in recent years include the 2013 Beijing Economic Census Yearbook and the 2010 Population Census Data, etc.
(3) Historical data collection
Historical data will be collected and published in special years, such as the Beijing 60 Years and the 30 Years of the Reform and Opening-up, etc.
(4) Data analysis collection

5. Press conference and media report
Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and NBS Survey Office in Beijing hold annual and quarterly press conferences or media briefings on Beijing’s economic operation in each January, April, July and October to release main data and answer questions of media concern. In addition, relevant data is disclosed through the TV program Number Story of Beijing, the Beijing Daily, the Beijing Evening News and our official microblog “Beijing Statistics”,etc.
